Electronic Power Grid Systems, IEEE Power Electronics Society Technical Committee on
Technical Committee on Electronic Power Grid Systems (TC8) will focus on the modernization of the Electronic Power Grid by means of power electronics components leading to a more sustainable production and use of the electrical energy. The TC will focus among the other topics on FACTS, HVDC, Structured Microgrids, Flexible Electronic Large Power Transformers and Smart Transformers within a synergic cooperation with the TC 5 of the PELS which focuses on "Sustainable Energy Systems."
