The focuses of this Society are on the theory and application of electronics, controls, communications, instrumentation, and computational intelligence to industrial and manufacturing systems and processes. These activities address the latest developments in intelligent and computer control systems. The Society sponsors many conferences, most notably the annual Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications.
