IEEE Letters on Systems, Man and Cybernetics
The scope of L-SMC covers the ultimate aims and key strategies of the SMC society towards the next generation of symbiotic human and machine intelligence systems. L-SMC will publish peer-reviewed articles that provide a timely and concise account of innovative research and application results. It reports significant theoretical findings and application case studies in areas of: a) Systems science and engineering; b) Human-machine systems; c) Cybernetics; and d) Computational social systems. L-SMC synergizes theories of systems, communication, control, cybernetics, stochastics, and optimization towards the formation of a general theory of systems science. It explores systems engineering technologies encompassing system specification, modeling, simulation, and experimentation methodologies. It studies data, structures, and methods in human factors engineering. It seeks systems design, test, and assessment methods. It covers system engineering applications in biological, ecological, socio-economical, computer informatics, and human- machine systems.
